Whenever possible our vegetables are seasonal and locally sourced from farmers in the Landrum, Tryon and Columbus area. We are always happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and create vegetarian, vegan and gluten free items for our guests whenever possible.
We are able to accommodate large parties with advanced notice and we offer an outdoor patio area (dog friendly!) with cornhole and a fire pit on chilly nights.

Gov. Henry McMaster on Friday, Dec. 8, named Sarah McClure, chef and manager of Southside
Smokehouse in downtown Landrum, to the list of the state’s four Chef Ambassadors for 2018.

Any time I go to the Southside Smokehouse there is always something new and exciting on the menu that satisfies my taste buds as well as fits my budget. The old standbys like pulled pork or ribs are just as good.
Great Food but above all they have PAPPY!!!!! all 4 shots of 20yo at $100 (currently) filed a part of my bucket list!! Will be back soon.

The atmosphere is casual. Shorts or jeans are fine. They have some good craft beers on tap and a selection of scotches. Something for everyone.
I wanna give a huge shout out to the wonderful fine folks at Southside smoke house and grille in landrum sc. I had the best plate of Cajun shrimp and grits with andoulle sausage I have ever had. Amazing. And they even comped my plate for being a veteran. Thank you. happy full customer
What a great find. Unbelievable food. I had the BBQ a d my hubby had the fried green tomatoe burger with homemade pimento cheese. Wonderful sauces authentic to the Carolinas. I highly recommend this restaurant. A variety of items on the menu. Not to be missed!

Love this place. Lots of amazing daily specials. Fresh cut fries are the best, and local fresh vegetable. We eat there once a week.
This was my first trip to North Carolina and this restaurant was recommended to us. It was fabulous the food was terrific even though I could not eat all of it. The staff were so helpful and guided us through the menu. Definitely would come again
I had the shrimp and grits and it was fantastic! tender shrimp, creamy grits and a hint of spice from the sausage and tomatoes. Really delish! My husband said the fish tacos were the best he has ever had and he is a fish taco expert! highly recommend!

parties over four please call ahead and make reservations. This will allow for us to staff for the night more efficiently
and get your food to you as quickly as possible.
